Southwestern Speckled rattlesnake

I got a little closer than I like in this shot by accident. Before I realized it my shadow was over the snake so I froze and slowly pulled out my iPhone for a quick shot. Fortunately she really liked this spot because she never moved despite me being less than a foot away.
