Big Red Diamond Rattlesnake

All my rattlesnake photos are shot "as found" with very few exceptions. As much as I hate some of the sticks and branches in the way I prefer the animals remain undisturbed when ever possible. Too many herpers don't even realize the impact they have on the snakes they claim to love and it's really sad. I'm pretty much over the "snake on a rock with a pretty backdrop" unless the snake was either found crossing a road or was already moving from site to site. Gravid females should never be manipulated for a picture and if your not able to tell if a snake is gravid then leave it alone.
