Sutton House at Christmas time

Sutton House is a National Trust property in Hackney, east London. Originally dating to 1535, the front of the building was modified during the Georgian period resulting in details such as these typical Georgian sash windows.

The panel in the centre of this picture notes that the building was given to the National Trust by W.A. Robertson in memory of his two brothers who died during the First World War.
