rose window and loggetta of San Pietro church, Tuscania

The church of San Pietro in Tuscania, Lazio, Italy was begun in the 8th century and was renovated in the 11th-12th century in the romanesque style.

As is typical of many Italian romanesque churches, the symbols of the Evangelists appear as four corners framing the rose window.
