stone staircase in Rouen cathedral

Known as the "Escalier des Libraires" (Library Staircase) because it gives access to the cathedral library. It was built in two stages: the lower two flights were constructed in 1479 by Guillaume Pontifs; the upper two were added in 1788.

It is located in the north transept of the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Rouen, Normandy, France.
