Rue du Gros Horloge, Rouen
The Rue du Gros Horloge in Rouen, Normandy, France is named after an astronomical clock which is built into the 16th century Renaissance archway seen here. (The clock face is out of shot beyond the top of this picture.)
The arms of Rouen are carved at the centre of the arch, and feature a lamb carrying a cross on a red background, flanked by angels on both sides.
The towers of Rouen Cathedral can be seen in the distance at the end of the street.
