half-timbered buildings on Rue du Gros Horloge, Rouen

The Rue du Gros Horloge in Rouen, Normandy, France is named after the astronomical clock which is built into a 16th century Renaissance archway, glimpsed here at the bottom right of the picture.

The 'Butter Tower' of Rouen Cathedral can be seen in the distance at the end of the street, just to the left of the bell tower which is adjacent to the Gros Horloge.
