heavy metal band

Seen in the Westgate Towers museum in Canterbury, these metal-clad groovers are actually just four of the 17 'maquettes' (prototype sculptures) which were used in the creation of bronze statues which now stand in the House of Lords. They depict the barons and bishops who signed Magna Carta. The maquettes were made in around 1845.
