Robin Hood Gardens

Eastern block of the Robin Hood Gardens estate, Poplar. Now undergoing demolition (the western block having already been demolished and new housing built in its place).

 

It was designed in a Brutalist style by architects Alison and Peter Smithson and completed in 1972.
