Pilgrim Fathers’ Church

Looking across the Piet Heynsbrug, Delfshaven, Rotterdam.

 

This church was where the English religious dissenters (who went on to be the Pilgrim Fathers who sailed to America) worshipped before they set off on their voyage in 1620.

 

The church building as seen here is a result of a rebuilding in 1761.
