Aziziye Camii
The building on Stoke Newington Road which houses Aziziye Camii - the Aziziye Mosque - dates back to 1913 when it opened as the Apollo Picture House. Over the following years it changed names, becoming first the Ambassador, then the Star Bingo Club, and finally the Astra Cinema, before closing for good in 1983.
It opened as a mosque in 1992.
