Tolworth modernism
Tolworth Tower is a 22-storey former office block in Kingston-upon-Thames. To its left is a podium which is occupied by a Travelodge hotel. In the bottom centre can be seen part of the spiral parking ramp.
The building was designed by architects Richard Seifert & Partners and completed in 1964.
At the time of taking this photo, the main tower is standing empty. There are plans to retrofit the building to become primarily residential, while adding two new towers alongside.
