I spotted this early '80s Reliant Scimitar GTC SE8 parked by a cafe on Turin Street in Bethnal Green. The whole scene felt like it had been dreamed up by an art director designing a 1980s retro shoot. So I've allowed myself a somewhat stylised edit. (Of course in those days this wouldn't have been a coffee shop but rather a greasy spoon cafe.)
The Scimitar was designed by Tom Karen (who very recently passed away): an industrial designer credited with many iconic British product designs from the '70s.
