Lakeside Centre, Thamesmead

This brutalist building overlooking South Mere was part of the original late 1960s Thamesmead development, now houses a cafe, nursery and workshop space.

 

The lettering on this sign uses the stylised typeface from the movie poster for the film A Clockwork Orange, part of which was filmed on the estate.
