Victorian Bath House, Bishopsgate

A 'Turkish' bath house, of which there were several in Victorian London. This one stands alongside St Botolph's Church Hall just off Bishopsgate in the City of London. Designed by architect G. Harold Elphick and opened in 1895. It closed in 1954 and is now used as an event space.

Although this building appears very small, apparently the majority of the structure is below ground.
