Actually a close-up of rear-facing vents on a speedboat, the aluminium-hulled Miss Britain III, which was built to win water-speed records (and was the first boat to exceed 100 miles per hour on salt water in 1933).

 

On display in the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich.
