flagellation of Christ - stained glass

One of an extensive set of medieval stained glass windows from the south aisle of Strasbourg Cathedral, which depict scenes from the Bible.

This panel depicts the flagellation, where Jesus was tied to a column and whipped by the Romans on the order of Pontius Pilate (seen here on the right).
