Snowshill Manor - inscription on entrance
This inscription sits above the entrance door separating the house from the garden.
On the wall of the house is what appears to be a statue of St George and the dragon; George's arm now chimes the bell that hangs above his head.
It reads: "Gardyn walled al with stoon / Fair a gardyn wot I nowhere noon".
