advertising wine in Herculaneum

This fresco, seen on a wall in the ruined ancient Roman city of Herculaneum, is an early example of advertising. In this instance it's promoting the wares of a particular wine merchant

It is located on the exterior wall of the 'House of the Black Hall' ('Casa del Salone Nero') at Insula VI, 13, facing onto the street called the Decumanus Maximus.
