This is a replica of part of the bronze quadriga sculpture which stands on top of the Wellington Arch at Hyde Park Corner, London. It is the head of the boy charioteer who is driving the four-horse chariot carrying the standing figure of the Angel of Peace holding an olive branch.
The quadriga sculpture was designed by Adrian Jones and installed on the arch in 1912.
This replica of the boy's head is on display within the small museum inside the arch. While the Wikipedia entry about the arch states that the sculpture of the boy is based on the son of the benefactor who funded the sculpture (Lord Michelham, in the museum itself it says that the model for the boy is unknown.
