This is the courtyard at New College just off The Mound in Edinburgh.
The architects built this so that you could see the Hub's spire between the buildings. It's not quite central but near enough.
This is a 2 shot exposure merged in Photomatix as the contrasts in lighting were very large and the 6D really struggles to bring out detail in the shadows.
