Pictures taken during a vacation to Virginia, Washington DC and Pennsylvania during early April 2013. The "purpose" of the trip was to see the cherry blossoms in bloom in Washington. The Trip started with Williamsburg and Jamestown in Virginia, followed by a tour of Washington DC's monuments and museums. The trip concluded with a tour of Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater in Pennsylvania.
Given the time of year this trip was taken (cherry blossom time), the capital was overrun with people. I've tried to reduce that impact photographically as much as possible, with some exceptions left to emphasize the crush of people in attendance at that time.
