Text: We Come Here To Remember

Entrance to the Oklahoma City Murrah Building Memorial.
"We come here to remember those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever. May all who leave here know the impact of violence. May this memorial offer comfort, strength, peace, hope and serenity.
The Memorial is "bookmarked" with the time of day on April 19, 1995 just preceding and following the explosion - 9:01 ... 9:03. That minute is when things "changed forever" for all associated with the site.
In looking at the shot again, I see it wasn't quite as "plumb" as it should have been from my cropping. It is slightly askew and the far entrance doesn't line up with the near entrance as well as I had thought (my standing in the middle of the street may have contributed to that, however). Now that I live in OKC, I plan to do quite a bit more photography at this site.
