Macro Mondays - Fastener - Latch & Lock

This fastener brings together the two doors of a very small (counter top) mahogany cabinet that I bought at a flea market about thirty years ago. It is a hand-crafted project someone took on and on which they did a marvelous job.
Not really sure why the cabinet has a lock as it is easily portable and someone could easily walk off with it.
ADMIN: The total width is about 2 3/4 inches.
