Although she was born in Texas and spent her life in Kansas, my mother was an anglophile and managed to make a couple of trips there in her lifetime.

 

Part of her interest was expressed in the miniatures she collected. One was this church from the Lilliput Lane collection titled: "St. Lawrence Church".

 

I checked Google images for a church by this name with a rounded turret but found none so it must exist in the imagination of the artist.

 

The background is from an image I made and had enlarged many years ago.

 

She's no longer with us but is lovingly remembered.
