2018 - Disaster Relief - Vici, Oklahoma Wildfires

In April 2018, wildfires hit much of drought-stricken western Oklahoma burning 400,000 acres, killing 30,000 head of cattle and destroying 60 homes, as well as many other out buildings. Oklahoma Southern Baptist Disaster Relief responded with teams to assist in helping fire victims deal with the damage and begin the process of restoration.

 

Coinciding with that work, US Senator James Lankford visited residents of the Vici, Oklahoma area and paid visits to DR teams working around Vici.
