2018 - Disaster Relief - Connecticut Tornados

On May 15, 2018, four tornados hit an area of Connecticut felling thousands of trees leaving 120,000 homes without power. Two were killed by trees falling on their vehicle. Downed trees and power lines trapped many in their homes until roads could be cleared.

In addition to Oklahoma, Disaster Relief teams consisting primarily of chain saw teams have come from a dozen or more states. These images are of one of the teams from Oklahoma.
