Every Lady Should Have One - A 19th Century Fluting Machine

We recently bought an object that is outside our usual collecting sphere. We found this object, a 19th century fluting machine, at an antique show. The only link to photographic collecting is a very bad copy photograph of the inventor that was mounted in an opening on the base. We were intrigued enough to buy it. I was able to scan and improve the contrast on the very dark copy so that you can now make out the features of Mrs. Susan R. Knox, the inventor of the machine. We would very much like to find an original photograph or a good copy of the original image. We have found a reference of the original image as an Artotype by J. Carbutt of Philadelphia.

An Artotype is a photomechanical collotype printing process also know as an albertype. We know that the image is indeed Mrs. Knox because we can compare the image with other photographs of the press. I have done numerous searches and can not find a good, clear picture of the portrait. Can anyone suggest a database of 19th century portraits that I might search?

I found a YouTube video about Susan and her fluting machine.
