Two Couples on a Paper Moon - Tintype
We have added a new tintype to our collection of paper moons in tin. Actually we added two but the other is a near duplicate of this one. Two young couples gather around the moon. Both of the women have a slight smile while both men look rather serious.
This is the same moon with no face as three of our tintypes. Although the arrangement of stars is different on all four I think it might be the same studio with the moon in a different position against the background. I have seen a moon of this type credited to Luna Park on Cony Island but have not been able to confirm it. Now what should I do with the duplicate tintype?
