This are is like a washing machine - the wives used pine to clean the clothes and the Gold Dust would rise. Not sure of the type of pine solution but someone must had blab that wives were getting extra pay so the the Company put this in. There's more stations like this than this row plus this process is for the real fine gold recovery.
