Glina Croatia - Exploring the legacy of conflict

Memorial site in Glina. During WW2 there was an Orthodox church on this site. Serb Orthodox civilains was told to gather here by the Croatian Ustase / Nazis to be converted to Catholicism. Those men women and children who turned up were all beaten to death inside the church. The church was later destroyed in another massacre by the Ustase. The statue is a memorial to those who were murdered.
