Mountain Pagoda

I have seen many temples all over Thailand but nothing quite like the charming Wat Chalermprakiat, located on a mountain top overlooking jungle and rice fields below. It certainly is an adventure getting there. A truck hauls visitors half way up the mountain over steep terrain as you cling on for your life. The final 1000 meter ascent is achieved by climbing steps, that I think is doable if you are in reasonable shape.
