Vintage KLOS stickers
Imagine how stoked I was when I found these inside a book at a garage sale! KLOS 95.5 FM was one of the definitive radio stations of L.A. in the late '70s and early '80s, with many an angeleno plastering their stickers on their cars, skateboards, locker doors, headboards...you name it!
The band ones were exclusives that could only be purchased at concerts, so if anyone was rocking one of those, it was most likely that they either 1) went to the concert themselves, or 2) knew someone that did, and that person hooked them up!
For the younger kids (10-12 yrs. old), having these special "band" stickers definitely upped one's "cool" factor. I hardly knew anyone in my neighborhood that had any band stickers, and the ones that did would regale the rest of us with stories of how awesome it was to see the band live.
