Heading home from a community clean-up day in Milwaukee's Menomonee River Valley, I happened to swing by Miller Park (home of the Milwaukee Brewers MLB franchise) and noticed a bunch of cars buzzing through cones in one of the remote parking lot. Turned out to be an SCCA solo timed event ... and, a great opportunity to fire off some speed shots and knock the rust off of my panning technique before race season really swings into high gear. Another reason to never leave home without your gear ... Sometimes you just stumble into fun stuff. Temps in the low 40's kept me from shooting for very long ... but, I think I got a few fairly respectable additions to the set.
