I'd been eyeing this at an antiques mall for years. Yes, some of the interior paint has flakes off, but it's still adorable. And the base is really nice, too (I should have tried to get that in the shot). But it was marked $250 or something. WAY out of my budget.

 

Then one Christmas I got a $50 gift certificate to the antiques mall, and that dealer had a sale...bottom line, I believe I paid $80 plus the gift certificate for the sweet lamp.
