Interloper
The second time we encountered the same herd of Desert Bighorn they were relaxing on a rocky rest above a water hole. Many of the sheep were laser focused on a distant top edge of the canyon, so I was sure there was another ram up there. Try as I might, I could not see what they were looking at. After maybe 20 minutes, sure enough, here comes a ram in a hurry. I thought that we would see some head butting action, but the new ram just joined the ram already there in chasing around the non receptive ewes. This one was a little smaller than the first ram, but he's a handsome devil.
