Grebeling

Pie Billed Grebe chick at Coyote Hills Regional Park in Fremont, Ca. Not quite my bucket list shot of chicks on the parents back, but pretty exciting to see nonetheless, especially after walking the trails here for a couple of hours not seeing much. Right before this, one of the parents showed up with a crayfish. Got shots of that, but some pretty dim lighting combined with the distance rendered them not even up to my weak standards. I might post the best one of those later anyway
