Sleepy Little Doe
This young Mule Deer Doe was part of a group drowsing and browsing along the road to Chimney Rock in Point Reyes National Seashore. A couple of this herd are collared now. I'm not sure what the point of that is; they're Mule Deer, and there's a lot of them. I also took some shots of a songbird in the same area and discovered he was banded on one leg. Now I carefully check my surroundings - I'd hate for an overzealous science type to get a hold of me; those collars look uncomfortable.
