Young Bald
A young Bald Eagle, just getting it's white coloring on it's head, harassing Osprey at Red Lake in Alpine County California. There was an adult Bald Eagle and a juvenile, which we had named "Big Bald", and "Baby Bald" repeatedly showing up and vexing the fishing Osprey. After looking at the photos at home, I realized that there were several different juveniles. It appears that the younger they are, the more blatant their attempts to steal an Osprey's fish are. I guess stealth comes with maturity.
