I took a detour on my way home from Yolo Wildlife Area today to see if I could get a shot of a Kingfisher that I see perched near the freeway on my way to work almost every day. I struck out with the Kingfisher, but on my way out, I spied this. I pulled to the side and jumped out, leaving my car door open right into the road and snapped about 10 shots covering 2 different landings. Then I noticed I was in a no parking area blocking the bike lane. I did not see anywhere nearby to legally park, so this is it.
