I think he's a Beewick's Wren. He was broadcasting his availability far and wide, rotating his head 360 degrees to cover the entire area with his chattering call. My girlfriend pointed out that it sounded like one of those old fashioned sprinklers, so now we are wondering if that is how the sprinkler got it's name.
