Leica M3 Double Stroke
An old Leica that I've carefully kept since school. It looks pretty rough and it was a shooter when it was purchased. When I started reviving my cameras I thought this one was out of my abilities and I gave it to a local Austrian camera repairman to evaluate repairs for the rangefinder. He disassembled it and tried to get me to pay for a CLA without repairing the rangefinder because he couldn't do it. I refused and he had to put it back together for free. Now I know it is screwed up inside because you can't correctly adjust a mechanism that is not cleaned. It's on my list for a complete CLA but it takes special tools just to get the top off.
I was going to clean it up but I kind of like the funkiness it has earned through being used.
Shown with a recently purchased Industar M61 2,8/52mm and a el cheap-o lens hood.
