Poppy at 23 months
I can't believe Poppy will be two next month. It doesn't seem like five minutes ago that we were in the hospital having her ... well OK - Lydia did most of the work there but still, I was awesome at getting water for her whenever she yelled for it :)
Now here's this little girl with a mind of her own and a big personality ... it goes by too quick. I guess that's why I take so many photos of her, to freeze time and create memories.
It bugs me a little bit that this photo is pretty horrific technically, with seriously blown out highlights etc but as a scene - and with Poppy standing there it works for me. Sometimes you've got to not overthink it and just shoot.
Especially when you're chasing around a two year old who doesn't want their photo taken ...
