// 52_Eighty-four // Into the void
This is an experiment. I'm interested to know what happens ...
I posted Week 84 yesterday as a reaction to my own reliance on flashes and self-portraits in general.
I said that using flashes made me a lazy photographer and that had to change. And it does, but the whole time I wasn't entirely happy with the photo so I set up something else and got this photo.
Using a flash, obviously.
So I'm being a bit of a hypocrite posting this. But I'm not posting it to replace the other photo, I'm posting it for ... an experiment. But I might replace it if I feel so inclined.
If you're interested the initial idea for this photo comes from those B-movie style clips where there's a cinema full of people with 3D glasses on.
Strobist info: Umm ... trying to remember ... SB600 centre(ish) bounced off the ceiling. I might have snooted or goboed it ... I tried with and without. There are some versions with a reflector to kill the heavy shadow but I don't think is one of them ... flash power was ... umm ... around 1/2 power I think. I know I fired it by CLS.
Aperture: f4.5 // Shutter Speed: 1/200 // ISO: 100
