A quick (well, fairly quick for me) self-portrait taken on me and disco~stu's weekly wander round Weymouth.
I've been meaning to come back to this place for ages, tried to get a photo a couple of weeks ago but didn't and tonight finally managed to get something which I think is worthwhile.
I've taken so many photos nearby this place but never put my ND filter to use - and I think if you're going to take pictures with the sea in it you don't want to freeze frame the waves cos, well . . . it looks crap. So tonight I made use of my ND filter on and the light was just about right to make it work.
I tried to flash light this, of course I did - I can't help myself - but 5 seconds was too long for it to punch through and make a difference . . . I'm pleased I didn't use it though, I've been meaning to try and do something a bit more natural for a long time.
So this is just me, the sea . . . and disco~stu flipping the bird somewhere out of shot.
And - I have another shot to follow this one. The next addition to my This is Weymouth project, which I'm really starting to enjoy.
Stay tuned dudes . . .
Sitting still for 5 seconds makes you blurry . . . but the sea looks nice
