I always get these preconcieved ideas of how things are going to pan out, and I'm always surprised when it ends in disappointment.
Take my less than 365 . . . I had intended to take more than one SP per week but not commit to another full blown 365, but that idea fell apart after . . . uh . . . one week. And since then I've struggled to [a] find the time to take one shot per week and [b] pull one decent idea per week out of the bag.
I suppose half of me wants to be taking more photos and the other half thinks that 365 in a row is more than enough for now. I'm having a post-365 hangover. And there is the small matter of my little Poppy arriving to make our lives a little more interesting! I'm sure when she settles down it'll get easier.
And I could say stuff about work that fits my theme . . . but the last thing I want to do is talk about work here - Flickr is my escape from the daily grind so why waste time (like I have done in the past) bitching about it here?
So . . .yeah. This shot is another of my occasional 'kitchen table' shots that I do when I'm out of ideas. I'm a bit gutted this didn't turn out like it looked in my head because I really like the lighting in this one but the rest of it's not quite how I imagined it. But hmm . . . I think I do like it. I don't know why. You can ignore this bit if you want, I think I'm talking to myself here . . .
Strobist info: SB600 to camera left (just to the left of my shoulder) at 1/2 power, bounced off the corner of the wall and ceiling. The flash is on a fully extended stand so the flash is positioned a few inches away from the corner of the room.
