362/365 # The moЯe I see . . .

. . . the more I love this band.

Jon managed to score two complimentary tickets for the Manic Street Preachers tonight at the Brighton Dome. We saw them play their new album in it's entirety and then come back for a second set of songs from past albums.

They played the first set as a three piece, apart form the last song, and they sounded awesome, really raw and loud. And they're the only band in history to make a saxaphone sound good.

Had my camera confiscated at the door though :(

And also: Brighton is an awesome place. Me and Jon wandered round the town a bit before going in and it was so much more relaxed and chilled out than Weymouth. And bigger. And more cultured. And just way cooler.

Remember: there's no such thing as a bad bag o' chips . . .

Strobist info: SB600 to camera left at full power bounced off a wall. Snooted with a mobile phone box.
