347/365 # Poser

So, to recap: had a great day yesterday shooting Paul and Heather's wedding with Disco~Stu, who took some seriously pro shots yesterday - head over to his photostream to check them out.

As an added benefit going to their wedding has lifted me out of the crap mood I was in last week over the stuff going on at work - seeing those two tie the knot reminded me of what's really important. It really did cheer me up.

Travelled back today after spending a little time wandering around Lichfield Cathedral, then round Lichfield itself looking for toyshop. We found one.

We're all home safe and sound, and have several hundred photos between me and Stu to sort through and process. Which is the fun bit for me so I'm looking forward to seeing what I got.

Will catch up with everyone tomorrow but all I want to do is crawl onto the sofa and cosy up to Lydia. I had a fantastic time yesterday, honestly one of the best weddings I've been to, but I do miss Lyd and the boys when I go away.

And pay no attention to the gurning moody face above, it's just cuz I wanted to get something quick and couldn't be arsed to smile :-) And I think I accidently managed to nail the point of focus on this one - I thought my more of my head was in frame (damn 50mm) but I really liked the accidental framing.

Strobist into: SB600 to camera left at 1/4 power and snooted.

Shooting with a wider aperture today - just for a change y'know?
