310/365 # Take a look in the mirror
So there I was, minding my own business, leaning against the wall when all of a sudden it went all sci-fi and I fell through into a parallel universe. I get up, dust myself down, and find myself trapped behind the mirror looking out.
Luckily I bought the limited edition trans-dimensional remote for my Nikon, so I hit the button and managed to get this shot.
Finding my way back was an adventure (sadly I didn't have my camera with me to document the many adventures and scrapes I got into) and one that, due to inter-dimensional amnesia, remain a mystery even to me.
They had better wallpaper in the other dimension. Embossed wallpaper was actually against the law (amazingly some small details remain unaffected by the inter-dimensional amnesia), and the penalty, if discovered, was to lick the walls until the embossed bits were worn down and level with the rest of the wall.
I'd love to meet the person that invented embossed wallpaper. I'd wrap him up in a roll of his own sordid bumpy paper and push him down a hill.
Anyway, I made it back in time to do my 365, here it is, hope you enjoy it - just squint your eyes and the wallpaper might look like a nice texture. Or not.
Textures by ~Essence of a Dream~ and Me (again).
Strobist info: SB600 to the left of the camera, bounced off the corner of our hallway at 1/8 power.
