301/365 # Accident or design?

OK, so It's meant to be creepy and a little macabre but I look like I'm doing 'I'm a little teapot' upside down. Also, I look weird upside down. Maybe that's why I pushed myself down the stairs?

Or did I?

After a bit of thought I decided to try this idea out today - I'm bored of standing in front of a blank wall and trying to get a shot. Lighting it was a pain in the ass though. I tried to light the two shots seperately, which obviously didn't work at all. So in the end I did a bit of bouncing of light through a snoot off the ceiling from the bottom of the stairs. Seems like it did just enough.

You can, if you look not too close, see the join between the two shots - check out the top left corner, the wall's two different shades. This is partly the reason I chose to layer a texture over the shot - the other because I wanted to make the shot look a little scratchy and grungey. I'm not sure if the texture was a good idea or not?

What wasn't a good idea was lying upside down on the stairs way too many times. Now I got bruises and friction burns on my back and it f**kin' stings! I nearly accidently slid down the stairs a load of times too. Headfirst into my camera and flash stand - that could've been nasty . . .

Strobist info: SB600 slightly to camera left, snooted and bounced off the ceiling at full power.

Scene of the crime . . . or accident (it looks better smaller)
